Providing extra lighting capacity is important when water is turbid/cloudy or when the well/borehole diameter demands additional lighting capability. Easily installed onto the DC5150 Dual-CAM, this versatile accessory may also serve other cameras for added viewing potential and expanded application usage. Its two HID (High Intensity Discharge) lamps generate 3-5 times for efficient lighting (lumens/watt) than comparable tungsten-halogen lamps.
Built into a durable stainless steel housing, the LumiCAM provides a simple plug-in connection for the camera and cablehead, fitting tightly onto the camera for easy handling. Its compact size allows it to fit into wells, boreholes or vertical shafts as small as 6 inches ID, while providing illumination for holes or shafts as large as 36-72 inches (915-1220mm) or more.
Able to operate in water or air conditions, the LumiCAM uses no filament, making it more durable and longer-lasting than other lamps. It is rated for use to submerged depths of up to 5,000 feet (1,500 meters).
