Dry Run Protection Panels

A common problem experienced with pumping systems is dry running – all pumps and motors need to be protected against this. Our dry check panels prevent this from happening by automatically stopping the pump if it runs out of water, efficiently avoiding the need to replace burnt out motors or damaged pumps. This control panel is suitable for a variety of applications. Our panels include a unique self calibrating feature that ensures accurate dry running protection levels by automatically detecting the correct levels for individual systems.

General characteristics of all dry check panels series control panels include:

- Electronic microprocessor panel
- Self calibrating feature for power factor
- Very low voltage input for external control from pressure switch or float switch
- Mains indicator and over-voltage or under-voltage alarm LED
- Automatic-off-manual operating LED
- Motor running LED
- Dry running and/or min/max level alarm LED
- Overload protection or out of order C.T. activated LED
- Automatic/off/manual operating LED
- Push button to select the automatic-off-manual functioning modes and to reset alarm conditions
- Protection against phase failure or C.T. damage, with alarm visualisation displayed in case of intervention
- 4 second delay in the triggering of the protection against phase failure or C.T. damage
- Phase overload protection with power micro switches (dipswitch) and visual alarm display in the event of it’s triggering
- 4 second triggering delay of the overload protection
- Protection against mains over-voltage and under-voltage (excludable), power voltage is regulated by micro switches
- One minute delay before the triggering and re-setting of the overvoltage and under-voltage protection
- Delayed operation of dry running protection with microswitches with settings of 1s, 5s, 10s, 20s
- Selectable additional 5 second delay before the triggering of the dry running protection
