Come and See us at National Fruit Show and Borehole Users Conference November 2023

Geoquip Water Solutions will be exhibiting at two events this November.

The first is the National Fruit Show on November 1 and 2, held at the Kent Showground, Detling, near Maidstone, Kent ME14 3JF.

The show is celebrating its 90th year and is recognised as the show ‘by growers for growers’. Organised by the Marden Fruit Show Society, this year’s event will have an increased focus on soft fruit, including a technical forum.

Geoquip has already worked with a number of soft fruit growers, helping to ensure they get the best out of their boreholes by maximising water quality and yield with a comprehensive maintenance programme.

At the Geoquip stand (T5) the team will be promoting the benefits of regular checks and cleaning, as well as explaining how having the right pumping equipment – such as the High Efficiency System (HES) pump from Franklin Electric – can deliver energy savings of up to 21%.

A week later, on November 8, Geoquip will be showcasing its equipment and expertise to the borehole sector and water professionals, at the Borehole Users Conference (BHUC).

Organised by Envireau Water, this year’s theme is Designing the Future: Sustainable Borehole Water Supplies. The day includes talks on the theme of sustainability by keynote speakers Dr Stephanie Wray from The RSK Group and Andy Turner from the Environment Agency, as well as other speakers including Envireau Water founder and chairperson James Dodds.

The afternoon will see workshops on the topics Borehole Design: Back to the drawing board and Water Stewardship.

Geoquip will be promoting the energy saving benefits of installing HES pumps and highlighting the need to ensure that when a borehole is drilled, regular maintenance is carried out to avoid pipes and pumps becoming clogged up with residue and bacteria that can impact water supplies.

It’s also an opportunity to talk to Geoquip’s experts and find out their recommendations for any borehole maintenance issues you might be experiencing.
