Franklin Electric E-tech Drive-Tech MINI is a variable frequency drive (inverter) with state-of-the-art technology combines efficiency, simplicity, innovation and safety. Designed to control and protect pumping systems by varying the output frequency to the pump. The Drive-Tech MINI can be applied to both new and existing pumping systems 


Franklin Electric E-tech Drive-Tech MINI is a variable frequency drive (inverter) with state-of-the-art technology combines efficiency, simplicity, innovation and safety. Designed to control and protect pumping systems by varying the output frequency to the pump. The Drive-Tech MINI can be applied to both new and existing pumping systems providing:
  • Energy and cost savings
  • Simplified installation and an overall lower pumping system cost
  • Longer life of the pumping system and relevant components
  • Improved reliability
Drive-Tech MINI, when connected to any pump, manages the system operation to maintain a certain constant physical quantity (pressure, differential pressure, flow, temperature, etc.) regardless of water demand. The pump is operated only when needed thus avoiding unnecessary energy consumption.
 
Innovation: The Drive-Tech MINI can be controlled manually by the board panel or via Bluetooth by the Franklin Smartphone App “FE Connect Drivetech” (Android and IOS), enabling you to set and monitor the system remotely, save working data and increase the pump performance.

                                                   
 
         
 
Drive-Tech MINI at the same time is able to:
  • protect the motor from overload and dry running
  • implement soft start and soft stop to increase the system life and reduce current peaks
  • provide an indication of current consumption, voltage, and power
  • maintain a record of run time and display any errors and/or failures reported by the system
  • connect to other Drive-Tech MINI units for combined operation
Drive-Tech MINI can be installed on motor terminal box or fixed on the wall. In the last case, through the use of output filters it is possible to reduce dangerous surges that are induced in long cables, making Drive-Tech MINI suitable for control also of submersible pumps.
 
Pumps with Drive-Tech Mini
 
In combination with the Drive-Tech MINI, the performance of the EH-DTm and EM-DTm systems has been improved even further. There are six models with flows up to 17 m3/h, head up to 101 m and power ranges from 0.55 kW up to 1.5 kW making EH-DTm and EM-DTm Pumping Systems the ideal solution for boosting systems, HVAC plants and general water supply.
 
The EH-DTm and EM-DTm systems can be operated with up to 8 combined units (COMBO setting) with each Drive-Tech MINI controlling and protecting its pump. The operation is shared among all connected pumps to balance the pump wearing. In case of an operation failure of a pump, the remaining pumps continue to work.
