Geoquip was thrilled to kick off the year by raising funds for our local St Helena Hospice in Colchester (www.sthelena.org.uk).
Together our team of 11 combined their talents at running, cycling, jogging, swimming and walking, to complete a grand total of 1,287 miles.
Converting that into pounds, it means we’ve raised over £1,000 to the hospice’s Make it Matter 2019 campaign.
Thank you to everyone for their hard work and also to everyone who sponsored us.

Thank you.
The tenth Orchid Male Cancer Awareness Week will take place from the 9-15 April 2018. This important annual campaign is an opportunity to raise awareness of male specific cancers – prostate, testicular and penile cancer – and to provide practical advice, support and information on the detection, diagnosis and treatment of these diseases. Throughout Orchid Male Cancer Awareness Week a range of activities will be taking place.
St Helena Hospice is looking for families to take on their most colourful fundraising event, involving people of all ages and abilities running or walking through walls of bubbles at the scenic High Woods Country Park in Colchester.
The event begins at 11pm on Saturday 9th June and will see participants walk, jog or run a 5km route with a difference. Each runner will encounter five ‘bubble stations’ where they will run through walls of colourful bubbles while high powered ‘bubble cannons’ blow out 30 cubic metres of bubbles a minute aimed at participants.

Geoquip Water Solutions are proud to support St Helena Hospice
Hospice care, or palliative care, means caring for someone rather than curing them.
St Helena Hospice exists to help local people with an incurable illness to live well and die with dignity and choice – our core services are provided for free and the majority of our work takes place in the community, in people’s homes.
The yearly cost to provide our services is around £8.9 million, we need help fundraising £6.2 million of that total.
